Ramos, Bravo, Arsua, and Tagara win Ironkids PH race
DAVAO CITY-At the elite 13–15 age-group division of the Ironkids Philippines at the Azuela Cove in this city, Euan Ramos and Carlisle Bravo displayed exceptional sprinting prowess to win their respective categories.

Francis Batican and Aliya Adre led the top finishers in the 9–10 division of the swim and ran competition, while Dustin Bersabal and Christy Ann Perez dominated the 11–12 side.

In the competition's youngest 6-8 class, Jashiva Arsua and James Tagara defeated 33 other competitors.

Ramos, 14, started the swim leg far behind the pack in 10th position with a time of 03:45, but he recovered to finish the portion in 11:59 over the 250-meter and 2-kilometer runs after rallying with a best 07:30 pace.

Angelo de Vera posted a time of 12:33 for third place after swimming in 03:36 and running in 08:08, while Carron Canas, who got a time of 0:31, finished in second place in 12:20 after an 8:04 run.

With a swim time of 04:21 and a run time of 09:10, the 14-year-old Bravo finished the race in 14:19 overall, beating Candace Socito, who finished in second place in 14:28 (04:07-09:27), and Celinda Raagas, who recently won the Vermosa Ironkids competition, who finished third in 15:08. (04:24-09:36).

Henry Go and Nigel Armada finished second and third, respectively, in the 200-meter swim and 1.5-kilometer run, while Perez finished second overall in 10:35 (03:05-06:41), finishing far ahead of Fritzie Surima and Elizza Ecalla, who timed 11:03 (03:20-06:55) and 11:22 (03:38-06:46), respectively.

The 150-meter swim and 1.5-kilometer run were completed in 10:49 by Batican, with Fraizer Ygot placing second in 11:05 (02:59-07:08) and Earl Pearson placing third in 11:16 (03:11-07:09).

While Henia Go posted 11:35 (03:14-07:27) and Seanna Clarke clocked 12:19 (03:40-07:41), Adre timed 02:54 for the swim and 07:38 for the run for 11:30. Arsua, meanwhile, maintained a strong start in the 100-meter swim and 1-kilometer run race to turn in an 08:04 (02:20-04:52) in the youngest category on the girls' side.

Scarlett Bagaipo raced an 08:40 (02:27-05:04), Tagara recorded an 08:55 (02:37-05:04), and Mitch Salva finished in second place with a time of 08:18 (02:24-04:59). They were followed by Chris Lacuna, who ran a 09:07 (03:27-04:46), and Alfonso Sumabat, who ran a 10:30  (02:58-06:18).(Romeo Braceros Jr.)
