Fresh off securing his third UAAP championship and being named Finals Most Valuable Player, Aringo, the former team captain of the National University Bulldogs, has officially joined the Saitama Azalea for the 2025-26 season. Known for his powerful spikes and dependable defense, the 6’2” open spiker is expected to be a key addition to the Japanese squad.
A homegrown talent from Dona Vicenta, Davao City, Aringo honed his skills early on as a varsity player at Davao City National High School. His breakout performance came during the 2019 Palarong Pambansa, where he led the city to a bronze medal finish in men’s volleyball.
Aringo’s remarkable collegiate journey, capped by his recent MVP recognition in the UAAP finals, underscores years of hard work and relentless dedication to the sport.
