The Southpoint School in Barangay Maa won the secondary football competition in the Davao Association of Private Schools and Administrators, Inc. (DAPRISAA).

The Southpoint footballers first beat AMSAI 2-1; Gelo Lacerna and Anthony Elorde provided the winning goals for the team.

The two teams met again the second time, wherein AMSAI won 3-2; however, after the aggregate score was counted and AMSAI got two yellow cards or violations, Southpoint was declared champion and got a ticket to compete in the Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA).

In the award ceremony, Gelo Lacerna emerged as the best striker, Charles Chiu as the best defender, and Anthony Elorde as the most valuable player in the tournament.

The team was coached by former University of Mindanao college football varsity players Armand Valencia and Roland Balot Manabit, also composed of Aj Guingguing and Ethan Granado.
