Panabo City chesser wins two medals in 11th ASEAN Para Games Cambodia
DAVAO CITY—Veteran chesser National Master Henry Lopez from Panabo City, Davao del Norte, won two medals for the Philippines in Cambodia's 12th ASEAN Para Games.

Lopez won a silver and a bronze in Southeast Asia's biggest sporting event for people with disabilities.

The former chess varsity player of the Holy Cross of Davao College Crusaders won silver in the P1 men's team alongside FIDE Master Sander Severino and Jasper Rom.

He won bronze in the PH men's individual.

PH chess team coach Davaoeno James Infiesto is happy and proud of Henry's and his team's overall performance in the tournament.
