DAVAO CITY---Northern Mindanao region represented by Lala National High School won second place in the inaugural Department of Education Online Sports Skills Demonstration Contest last November 29.
Lala National High School from DepEd Lanao del Sur got the second place among 17 regional finalists.
Lala high school students presented basketball skills as an entry in the online competition.
The third place in the event was also won by another Mindanao team, the Soccsargen region.
Represented by Tacurong National High School from DepEd Tacurong City, the region got the podium finish with their arnis presentation.
Aside from bragging rights, the winning regions also won trophies and cash as prizes. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
