DAVAO CITY—Cornerback Matt Lim again played superbly to carry the Davao Regional Football Association (DRFA) to its third straight win in the ongoing Philippine Football Federation U-19 national championship in Talisay City, Cebu.

Lim, son of New City Commercial Center (NCCC) chief operating officer (CEO) Lafayette Alvarez Lim, scored a brace to carry DRFA to a 4-1 win over the Camiguin Misamis Oriental Football Association on June 29.

Aside from Lim's substitutes, Rommer Paciente and Roent Sia added a goal each in their win.

With their latest win, DRFA gets a slot to compete in the semifinals in August.

The team won their second earlier after beating Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte, 2-1.

Ariel Dalapo and Kent Sia provided the winning goals for Davao City in their win.

Earlier, Davao City beat the Panay Football Association 1-0.

Lim provided the winning goal for the team in the 74th minute.
