DAVAO CITY---A visiting team from Nabunturan, Davao de Oro won the 2022 AFC Women’s Football Day tournament last March 13 at the Tionko Football grounds.
Team Dona FC of Nabunturan beat cross-town rival New Bataan (Davao de Oro) in the championship to rule the tournament.
The third place went to PREM from Davao City.
A total of 15 teams across region 11 joined the tourament some of whom are the following: Calinan FC, AC Dachi, DavSur FC, Koligyunite, Igacos FC-A, FC-B (Samal), PPG, Fil-Chi, Pantukan (Davao de Oro), Sto. Nino FC and Put-Hai FC (Kidapawan).
