The Baby Tamaraws got on the board first thanks to a goal from rookie Nickos Mamon in the 32nd minute, and then Bryan Villanueva found some space and scored to make it 2-0 right before the half.
In the 50th and 58th minutes of the second half, Mamon added two more goals by converting two excellent passes from captain Andre Yu and Kent Pilarca.
The Tamaraws scored at least a point for the tenth game in a row, dating back to the UAAP Season 81 championship versus Nazareth School of National University when Arvin Alayon put the finishing touches on the rout in the 85th minute.
The five members of the team who trace their roots here also played well in the game, namely Kian Terrence Niu, Joerby Anito, Janfritz Llubit, Ronmer Lei Cervantes Paciente, and Gian Lucha.
Although new to the team, the Davao City footballers have shown their Manila counterparts that they are a valuable asset in the title retention bid of the team. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
