High-flying forward John Alparapa scored a game-high 32 points to carry his team to victory against the determined Red Eagles.
With his game-long brilliance, Alparapa was also declared the most valuable player in the finals.
The Blue Knights started strong in the game by capitalizing on their defense and fast break plays to take a commanding lead in the first quarter, 32-13.
In the second quarter, the Red Eagles made a mini-command and cut the Blue Knights lead to 58-37 at the half.
In the third canto, the Blue Knights continued their assault and took a 67-99 lead.
Forward Christian Edvil Mundas scored 24 points for the Red Eagles in a losing cause.
The deciding championship game was made special by the presence of Samahang Baskebol ng Pilipinas region 11 director Glenn Escandor, BSP operations head Ronel Leuterio, and newly crowned UAAP college basketball champion De La Salle guard and former Blue Knight himself, Francis Escandor.
The younger Escandor, mobbed by local hoops fans, thanked all those who came and supported the basketball tournament organized by SBP and led by his father.
