DAVAO CITY---Looks like the Davao City-based women's soccer team PERM FC is starting to collect football trophies from different parts of the Philippines.

After winning a football tournament in New Bataan, Davao de Oro on March 6-7, PERM Davao has also won the women category of the 4th Koronadal Footfest held at the SMRAA Complex in Koronadal, South Cotabato last March 18.

The team coached by veteran Davaoena coach Ching Siega Delos Reyes beat other top women's football clubs in the Philippines.

Delos Reyes is very grateful and happy about their win in a Facebook post.

"Thank you players for a job well done despite the challenges of long travel hours before the game. Thank you parents for entrusting us with your beautiful and precious daughter and also for supporting their love for the game. Thank you coaches of these wonderful players 😮 and to all the sponsors who financially and spiritually help the team.

Thank you dear Lord for the safe travels and for the opportunity," Delos Reyes said.

Delos Reyes also won several football tournaments both as a player and coach.

Last February 20, PERM FC also won the women's category of Libertad 2022 football festival in Barangay Libertad, Island Garden City of Samal.

The team received medals and a whopping P10,000 as prizes.

The tournament was organized by the barangay officials of Libertad and Roland Balot Manabit, football coach of Southshield FC, one of the top football teams in Davao City. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
