DAVAO CITY---Four-division World Boxing Champion Donnie "Ahas" Nietes is set to face Dominican Republic Norbelto Jimenez in a WBA World super flyweight eliminator on December 11 at the Coca-Cola Arena Dubai, UAE.
Sporting an impressive 43-1-5 win-loss-draw record on top of 23 knockouts, Nieter is very confident of his chances against Jimenez.
The 39-year-old Negros Occidental native pugilist last fought in April and scored a unanimous decision win against Colombian foe Pablo Carillo for the vacant WBO International super flyweight title.
Before that win, Nietes also got two wins in 2018 over Japanese fighter Kazuto Ioka and Argentine boxer Juan Carlos Reveco and had a draw against compatriot Aston Palicte. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
