Taking a cue from the pillars of good governance espoused by the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte, Evangelista’s administration has shown a strong stance against corruption since 2019 including the implementation of programs against illegal drugs, criminality, and insurgency.
The Evangelista administration’s strong stand against corruption has given the municipality of Santo Tomas an unprecedented growth and has improved the delivery of public services for all Tomasinos.
“Supportado ko ang mga programang makaayo sa tanan. I am with you when it comes to good governance, and quality public services…,” Duterte said.
In a statement Tuesday, Evangelista thanked Sara for expressing support to his “Aksyon Ang Solusyon” program aimed at sustaining the culture of good, responsive governance and providing quality good service for all Tomasinos.
“Sukad sa pagsugod sa pandemic, nahimo natong enabling partner ang Davao City LGU headed by Mayor Inday Duterte. Countless of assistance ang ilang nahatag sa taga Santo Tomas. Ako isip inyong Mayor, buot nakong ipakita na dili dapat i-limit ang atong panerbisyo sa kung unsa ang atong partido o political color. Kita diri sa Santo Tomas, gipakusgan nato ang kampanya sa paghatag og saktong serbisyo sa katawhang Tomasino,” Evangelista said.
