Municipal Administrator lawyer Elisa Evangelista-Lapiña said the administration of Mayor Ernesto Evangelista is more determined to push through with the implementation of livelihood projects and programs to boost economic growth and provide employment to many of their residents who have been rendered jobless.
Recently three of their residents who availed the training and employment under the #AksyonSaKabuhayan program are now working abroad as butchers in the United Kingdom and Canada.
The local government identified the successful butchers as Romel Recopelacion and Alan Subteniente who are both working in the United Kingdom), and Giann Karlo Bulan who is working in Canada.
They were part of the first batch trainees under the Evangelista’s #AksyonSaKabuhayan program trained under Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)’s meat slaughtering program.
In 2021, the Evangelista administration had started its training on meat slaughtering program in partnership with TESDA for residents who want to land a job abroad.
Evangelista-Lapiña said the remaining 22 beneficiaries were already scheduled for a trip to Manila for their biometric profiling and for the processing of their working visa.
