The Joint Task Force Davao (TFD) and Davao City Police Office (DCPO) recently apprehended an individual at Lasang the Entry point on October 22, 2024, at around 8:20 in the morning for carrying Marijuana with an estimated street value of Ninety Thousand Pesos (P90,000).
The suspect, a certain Niel Jhon P Dacera, 30 years old, single and a resident of Purok Sampaguita Baon, Brgy. San Isidro, Davao Oriental, was on board a public utility bus traveling towards Davao City.
Intercepted from his possession were two pieces of resealable transparent plastic sachet and one (1) sack containing dried leaves believed to be Marijuana.
Colonel Darren Comia, Commander of Task Force Davao lauded the relentless effort of TFD and DCPO personnel manning the said entry for diligently doing their task of ensuring the safety and security of dabawenyos againts illegal drugs.
The suspect and the seized items have been handed over to the Bunawan police station for legal action.
