DAVAO CITY — Police arrested a suspected high-value drug personality known by the alias “Javar” during a search warrant operation in Barangay Binugao, Toril, on October 14, 2026, according to the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).
The operation, conducted in Lower Binugao, also led to the confiscation of suspected shabu valued at more than ₱1.077 million and a .38-caliber revolver.
Personnel from Police Station 8–Toril, the Regional Intelligence Division 11, DCPO SWAT, and Task Group Falcon of Task Force Davao took part in the operation.
DCPO Director Colonel Peter Bauzon Madria commended the operating units for their coordinated efforts in carrying out the operation.
The police office also highlighted the role of local government officials, barangay authorities, and community members in supporting efforts to address illegal drug activities in Davao City.
The arrested suspect and the confiscated items will be subject to appropriate legal proceedings.
