September 30, a Monday, falling on the first week of October, is considered an additional day-off to the offices which availed the CWW schedule.
CWW schedule is an initiative of the administration to provide an option for its employees not to render service on Mondays instead extend their work hours from Tuesday to Friday, adding Monday to their usual day-offs from Saturdays and Sundays, as part of its effort to promote the holistic wellness of its employees.
HCDC Human Resource head Doreli Flor S. Laviña said currently, there are 28 offices that adopt the CWW. These offices, she said, shall serve their usual transactions from Tuesdays to Fridays, from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.
She said those offices that did not opt for the CWW schedule will retain their normal 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, work schedules.
Among the 28 offices that have confirmed the CWW schedule are the Office of Finance, Office of Registrar and Records Management, Office of Student Affairs and Services and its sub-unit Admission and Scholarships Office.
Laviña said the CWW schedule does not cover the ‘full-time teaching personnel’ as they are not required to be onsite during Mondays.
However, Laviña said that academic heads are given the CWW schedule option, as they hold offices.
Prior to the enforcement of CWW, a survey had been conducted earlier this year by the Human Resource Office to its employees in the creation of its wellness program. It found out that the employees would like an additional flexible work arrangement.
HCDC continues to adopt wellness initiatives to develop a more holistically advanced community that values the health of its students and employees to better serve its clients and partners in the community.
