Labeled boxes bearing the seal of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and managed by logistics partner iOne Resources, Inc. were delivered to Comelec office here.
Each box contains election Starlink satellite dish, router and solar panels and designated for specific barangays and polling precincts.
Among those received were for:
• Barangay Central at Mayor Luisito Garcia Rabat Jr. Elementary School (Boxes #3539 and #3540)
• Barangay Dawan at Paciano A. Genon Elementary Memorial School and Brigido Rodriguez Sr. Elementary School (Boxes #3541 and #3536)
• Barangay Luban at Luban Integrated School Building (Box #3538)
• Barangay Libudon at Francisco C. Hinayon Elementary School (Box #3537)
• Barangay Danao at Asuncion Rondina Perez Memorial School (Box #3535)
All boxes were clearly tagged with location information and secured in protective wrapping, ensuring their integrity and security upon arrival.
The materials are part of the nationwide deployment of election paraphernalia in anticipation of the scheduled polls.
COMELEC representatives supervised the delivery and affirmed that the process remains transparent and tightly monitored to uphold the credibility of the elections.
With the arrival of these materials, final preparations including testing of vote-counting machines and training of poll workers are expected to follow in the coming days.
