The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 11, through its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), recently rolled out a simultaneous payout of Seed Capital Fund (SCF) to support small livelihood initiatives across nine cities and municipalities in Davao del Norte.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 11, through its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), recently rolled out a simultaneous payout of Seed Capital Fund (SCF) to support small livelihood initiatives across nine cities and municipalities in Davao del Norte.

Held on July 15 to 16, 2025, the activity benefitted a total of 754 identified and qualified program participants from Tagum City, Panabo City, Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS), Asuncion, Kapalong, San Isidro, Talaingod, Santo Tomas, and Braulio E. Dujali. Each beneficiary received ₱15,000 in seed capital to help kickstart or expand their individual micro-enterprises.

In total, the program disbursed ₱11,310,000 worth of funds, aiming to strengthen local economic opportunities and empower communities towards sustainable livelihoods.
