The activity, themed “Ensuring Safe and Secure Communities with Delivery of Social Services,” was simultaneously conducted in all 19 DCPO police stations, with Police Station 20–Los Amigos serving as the host station.
Residents availed themselves of free medical consultations, haircuts, legal assistance, agricultural services, food packs, gifts, and assistance in processing civil and police documents.
Participating agencies included the Philippine Statistics Authority, Department of Agriculture, City Agriculturist Office, and Office for Senior Citizens Affairs, along with personnel who assisted residents with National Police Clearance and other government documents.
The beneficiaries also attended information sessions on anti-bullying, laws protecting women and children, and fire prevention and safety.
The initiative was supported by various government offices, police and fire personnel, civic groups, community organizations, and private stakeholders.
DCPO chief Colonel Peter B. Madria said the activity highlights the police office’s commitment to bringing public services closer to communities while strengthening trust and cooperation between law enforcement and residents.
He said OPLAN KALINAW III reflects its approach to policing that goes beyond maintaining peace and order by ensuring that communities, particularly those in need, have access to essential services and information.
