DAVAO CITY — The Davao-Borneo Growth Corridor Forum 2026 will bring together government officials, businesses, investors, industry groups and institutions from Mindanao and Borneo on September 18 at the SMX Convention Center Davao.

With the theme “Forging Partnerships, Shaping Shared Futures,” the forum is expected to gather around 400 participants from Mindanao, Sabah, Sarawak, Kalimantan and Brunei Darussalam.

The regional business and investment forum aims to explore opportunities for economic cooperation, investment, trade, connectivity and institutional partnerships between Mindanao and Borneo.

Discussions will focus on key areas of regional growth, including agribusiness and food processing, tourism and halal industry, logistics and connectivity, renewable energy and green mobility, healthcare systems and technology, and urban and property development.

The forum will also feature business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings designed to connect businesses, investors and government representatives for potential partnerships and investment opportunities.

The forum also highlights agribusiness and food processing, tourism and the halal industry, logistics and connectivity, renewable energy and green mobility, healthcare systems and technology, and urban and property development.

Organizers said the forum seeks to build on existing regional cooperation, particularly through ASEAN and the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA).
