Dabawenyo students from low-income households, public schools, and Indigenous Peopleโ€™s groups are encouraged to enrol at the City College of Davao (CCD) for Academic Year (A.Y.) 2025-2026.

The CCD offers free tuition to qualified students ensuring that Dabawenyo youth have equal access to quality tertiary education without worrying about expensive tuition and miscellaneous fees.

Every academic year, the CCD opens a total of 320 slots for its three main undergraduate programs including Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (BECEd), Bachelor Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd), and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship.

Currently, the CCD has 602 students, 205 them are members of the IP community in the city.

For A.Y. 2025-2026, application period runs from April 14โ€“26, while the readiness assessment for incoming students is scheduled on April 26 and April 27.

Only student-applicants who have taken the readiness assessment may proceed with the admission process.

Mylene Tuclaud, CCDโ€™s College Registrar, said in an interview with the City Information Office that interested students who have already taken the readiness assessment need to prepare their admission requirements composed of a photocopy of their PSA birth certificate, Senior High School Report Card or appropriate ALS certificate, and a certificate of residency issued by the Office of the Barangay Chairman.

A copy of the Income Tax Return of both parents or a Certificate of Low Income issued by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) is also needed along with a copy of a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Doctor.

For members of the IP community, the applicant must also submit a photocopy of the Certificate of Belonging to Indigenous Peoples Group issued by the Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR).

The CCD will notify student-applicants about the results of their admission assessment. Successful applicants will receive a Notice of Admission from the college.
