The police identified the victims as 4-year-old Johnn Rylle Generosa, 7-year-old Alexis Pastor, and another 7-year-old Gabriel S. Roque. They were neighbors in Purok Pag-asa, Brgy Sta. Lucia, Centro Agdao, this city.
Investigation said the children went missing on Saturday afternoon after they were playing outside of their houses.
Personnel of Philippine Coast Guard and Central 911 Search and Rescue team immediately conducted a search and retrieval operation at the vicinity waters off Brgy. San Juan.
Generosa was seen floating near an ongoing coastal road project by duty watchman at around 9:45 p.m. of the same day.
At around 9:56 p.m. the body of Pastor was retrieved floating along the seashore of San Jose Ipil Beach, Brgy. Duterte.
Meanwhile, the body of Roque was retrieved at around 10:25 p.m. under the houses along the seashore of San Jose Ipil Beach, Brgy. Duterte.
Both Generosa and Pastor were taken to Southern Philippines Medical Center where they were declared dead on arrival.
