The surrenderers also yielded four high-powered firearms.
The four NPA rebels led by Muloy alias Sab-a belong to the Sub-Regional Sentro De Grabidad (SRSDG) Peddler, North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC).
Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel P Garcia, 56IB Commanding Officer said the Civil-Military Operations initiative called Project BOSS played a significant role in the successful surrender of the four rebels.
"The 56IB conducted Project BOSS, which strategically focused on engaging the families and relatives of active Communist NPA Terrorists (CNTs) in different units within the Talaingod region,” Garcia said in a report from 10th Infantry Division (ID).
The 56IB effectively orchestrated a campaign that resonated with individuals considering a new path away from conflict through collaboration of ntelligence units, according to Garcia.
10th ID commander Major General Allan D Hambala lauded the 56IB for their successful implementation of Project BOSS, effectively persuading the remaining members of the CTG to surrender.
