10 ๐›๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ง ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ 2025 for Davao City Interim Bus Service
Ten buses for the Davao City Interim Bus Service (DIBS), a program solely funded, conceptualized and operated by the Davao City Government, is expected to arrive in September, and might finally be deployed by the 4th quarter of 2025.

โ€œSa latest communications nato, in the middle of August maybe those 10 buses will be shipped padulong sa Davao. We are hoping that sometime end of August or September muabot ang bus then by that time our NC3 Bus Driving TESDA-certified drivers will be able to familiarize themselves, part pud sa ilahang training how to operate these 10 new buses,โ€ Atty. Tristan Dwight Domingo, Davao City Bus Project Manager, told Davao City Disaster Radio on Thursday. 

Domingo said that they were hopeful that by late September or October they can start the deployment of the buses.

He said that the buses will be deployed and rides will be offered for free to Dabawenyos during peak hours. 

They are currently waiting for the official list of routes approved by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

โ€œEven with the DIBS, the PHABS will  continue as it is a huge help," he said, adding that both will simultaneously operate assuming the demand.

The transport studies will continue for the areas or routes where PHABS can be assigned effectively in the future. 

Domingo said that with the expected arrival of the buses currently, they are hiring NC3 TESDA-certified mechanics, and personnel to be assigned at the command center for the DIBS. CIO
