Gabby Ramos was one of the two top scorers for the team in their win, with 20 points, five rebounds, and three steals.
Ramos was a woman on a mission in their game, as she scored from both inside penetrations and outside shots.
Aside from Ramos, Kristan Geyl Yumul also scored 20 points in the game.
Naomi Panganiban also had a solid game for the team in their win with 16 points.
Despite finishing only in third place, the performance of the team is still admirable since they were able to collect a medal in the tournament where the last time the country participated was in 2011.
The Philippines failed to reach the finals earlier after they were beaten by Samoa in their semifinal duel (Romeo Braceros Jr.).
