DAVAO CITY---A promising outside hitter from Tagum City, Davao del Norte made it to the roster of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) women's senior volleyball team that will compete in the UAAP Season starting to begin in the second quarter of next year.

Jonna Perdido, a graduate of the University of Mindanao campus is one of the seven rookies on the team.

Perdido played a crucial role in Davao’s bronze medal finish in the 2019 Palarong Pambansa Rebisco National  Volleyball League.

The young Tagumeno is expected to bolster the team’s hitter depth joining Eya Laure and Babylove Barbon.

Aside from Palarong Pambansa, Perdido also played for UM Tagum in the Mindanaao finals of the Rebisco Volleyball League 2019.

In the tournament, UM Tagum beat ADDU last August 15-18, 2019 at the Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex in Tagum City.
