DAVAO CITY---Rovers FC, a football club based here won one of the categories in the Davao South Regional Football Association Festival 2022 on April 30 at the Tiongko Football Field.
Rovers FC won the 15 and under category of the football tournament participated by some of the top football clubs in Mindanao.
Rovers FC won the crown after defeating Crocs FC in the Championship 2-0.
Joerby Anito and Ezequiel Daganato provided the two winning goals of Rovers FC.
For his brilliant performance throughout the tournament, Kian Terrence Niu, a high school varsity of Far Eastern University, was declared the most valuable player (MVP).
The third place in the category went to the visiting Bukidnon Faith FC.
The other champion team members are Nicholas Hao, Isaiah Leigh Callora, Liam Marcus Te, Austin Dilodilo, Philippe Martinez, Fritz Nevaeh Jurong, Marcuz Labio, Lhei Magdamo and Nico Banua. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
