DAVAO CITY – A rising sports talent from Davao is making waves on the national stage. Jilliana Dagpin, a standout female football player who plays in local leagues, has been named one of only 28 players invited to the training pool of the Philippine Under-17 Women’s Football Team that will compete in upcoming international tournaments.
Dagpin, a member of the Makati Football Club, expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to don the national fsports event.
But Jilliana’s athletic journey doesn’t stop on the football field. She is also a taekwondo champion and currently pursues her studies at the Ateneo de Davao University, balancing academics and sports with discipline and determination.
Her mother, MJ Dagpin, expressed pride in her daughter’s dual achievements in football and taekwondo.
