DAVAO CITY—Once again, one of the top football clubs here showed its dominance after winning a football crown at the 2nd Steven Cup 2023 held at Tagum City Sports Complex in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, on August 12.
The Crocs FC U-12 team won the crown against some of the top football clubs in Mindanao.
Joshua Gregory Calamba, a promising football player from Barangay Talomo, played superbly for his team in the tournament.
With his brilliance in the tournament, Calama, the son of incumbent Barangay Talomo barangay captain Bendor Calamba, won the best goalkeeper accolade.
In a Facebook post, the elder Calamba is proud of his son's achievement.
Crocs FC, located at the Crocodile Farm football field, has won many local, national, and international football tournaments.
Some current and former players of Crocs FC were also picked to play in schools in Metro Manila and abroad (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
