DAVAO CITY—On March 17 at The Villages at Clark Pampanga, a promising Davaoeno named Austin Terrence Dilodilo won the best goalkeeper award in the recent 2024 CIFA Cup. Dilodilo earned the coveted title after he assisted the U18-A San Beda University Juniors Football Team in winning the football title against Basa FC in the finals, 2-0.
Dilodilo was unstoppable throughout the entire competition, preventing any opponent from scoring a goal against his team.
He plays football for the Rovers Football Club in Davao City.
As a member of their high school football team, Austin Louis Dilodilo was awarded a scholarship by the Red Cubs.
The Red Cubs made the trade because of Dilodilo's abilities, which helped Rovers win numerous regional and national football titles.
The young Davaoeno football star's mother, Mavick Dilodilo, is overjoyed and appreciative of her son's new challenge in the nation's capital.
"Gracefully, friends and families. Best of luck on your new journey to Austin, new friends, new coach, new teammates, and new school," Dilodilo said on Facebook (Romeo Braceros Jr.).
