The so-called Nordeco Lady Warriors of Light gathered at the culmination program of International Women’s Month at JT Amacio Hall, TipazOffice, Tagum City, Area 1 Services Department Office in Montevista, and Area 4 Services Department in Island Garden City of Samal.
“Women not only lit the home, but the community and the society. Women have qualities: we have motivation, how we handle things, eager to learn andadopt, empathetic, sense of integrity, women have interpersonal skills. These qualities make women excellent in attaining their goal.” Juliet Senario, one of the Board of Directors said in her inspirational message.
The group made the celebration more informative with the holding of a webinar on “Improving the Female Reproductive Health and Preventing Related Diseases” given by Dr. Chrysteller Q. Clet, Medical Specialist IV – Family Medicine in the Davao Regional Medical Center (DRMC). Clet is also the EC’s retainer physician.
The single mother employees’ Engr. Evalyn Pamisa and Rosalia Hababag were given recognition for holding down the fort with all the hard work, devotion, and sacrifices involved in single parenting. They raise their children to school and successfully finish college degrees. Doing such a tough job without a partner is a big challenge.
A Zumba contest spirited the event seeing women employees from different areas and departments dancing to the beat of fulfillment.
Aside from Senario, also present in the activity were OIC Manager ElveraS. Alngog, Department Managers, and lady employees of NORDECO, Inc.
Alngog, UDEWA (employees association) newly elected president and Coop Nurse Katherine D. Minasalvas, and PHILRECA executive director and general manager lawyer Janeene Depay-Colingan gave their empowering messages to the EC Lady Warriors of Light.
