Motolite Express Hatid, RES-Q App now in Davao City
DAVAO CITY – Motolite, the country’s leading battery brand, has officially launched its Motolite Express Hatid (MEH) and RES-Q App services in Davao City on Tuesday (Aug. 19), marking its first delivery system in Mindanao.

First introduced in Manila in 1999 and later in Cebu in 2024, the services highlight Motolite’s commitment to quality products, after-sales support, and nationwide roadside assistance, according to May Guste, head of special projects at MEH, at the launch.

MEH Davao services include:

  • Free 24/7 battery delivery, installation, and electrical checkups via call center
  • Assistance for flat tires, overheating, and emergency refueling (select areas)
  • Flexible payment options (cash, cards, GCash, installment)
  • E-Warranty (no receipts needed once registered in RES-Q App)
  • Access to CARMEN, Motolite’s virtual assistant

Motolite is also deploying Greenlight EV M6 electric motorcycles for faster and eco-friendly deliveries.

Customers from Toril to Calinan in the south and Tibungco in the north can avail of the services via the RES-Q App or MEH hotlines: Globe 0917-891-6686, Smart 0918-843-6686, and Provincial 1-800-10-370-6686.Registration is available at motolite.com/pages/davao or facebook.com/motoliteexpresshatid.

“With MEH and RES-Q now in Davao, Davaoeños can expect the same reliability and convenience Motolite is known for nationwide,” said Richard Chan, Motolite VP for Sales and Marketing.

Ernest Damaso, Regional Sales Manager for Mindanao, described the Motolite Express Hatid (MEH) Davao service as hassle-free, noting that customers no longer have to deal with traffic just to buy a Motolite battery. Deliveries are made using Greenlight EV M6 electric motorcycles, which not only ensure faster service but also help reduce carbon emissions.

“It’s hassle-free—you don’t need to present a receipt or warranty card the traditional way. If your battery breaks down, you can claim the warranty online. It’s now paperless,” he explained.

Damaso added that launching MEH and the RES-Q App in Davao is Motolite’s way of thanking its loyal users in the city. “We are the dominant player in the country’s battery industry, with Davao City accounting for 83–85percent of the market. We also have signature business partners across Mindanao to better serve our customers,” he said.
