BOC Davao District Collector lawyer Erastus Sandino B. Austria in a statement said the amount is 3.60 percent higher against its assigned target of P3.37 billion posting a P121.22 million surplus.
The said collection is also higher by 0.14 percent compared to the P3.06 billion March 2021 collection performance.
Austria said the positive revenue collection can be attributed to the improved valuation, intensified enforcement operations, and the government’s efforts in ensuring the unhampered movement of goods amid the pandemic situation.
In February, the BOC-Davao also exceeded its collection having P3.30 billion or 9.81 percent higher against its assigned target of P3.01 billion, posting a surplus of P295.09 million.
