PRO 11 said the report was based on Quicklook Data as of 6:00 a. m, January 2, 2026.
PRO 11 deployed a total of 1,318 police personnel to ensure public safety during the holiday celebrations. This included 895 deployed PNP personnel, 265 augmentation units, and 158 advocacy group members.
PRO 11 also activated Motorist Assistance Hubs with 378 personnel composed of 313 PNP personnel, 41 augmentation units, and 24 advocacy group members.
In compliance with safety regulations, police units were deployed in 24 LGU-designated firecracker (FC) zones with 26 personnel assigned, as well as 22 LGU-designated community fireworks display areas (CFDA) with 39 personnel deployed.
Additional police presence was maintained in other key areas. PRO 11 recorded deployments in 103 transport hubs, 124 tourist destinations, 85 places of worship, and 227 places of convergence. Including augmentation units and advocacy groups, total personnel deployed reached 180 in transport hubs, 230 in tourist destinations, 126 in places of worship, and 339 in places of convergence.
It also recorded 14 firecracker- or pyrotechnics-related incidents, resulting in one injury, three arrests, and the seizure of 4,433 firecrackers. No fatalities were reported.
There were zero recorded incidents of indiscriminate firing, firecracker-related fires, or road crash accidents.
PRO 11, meanwhile, said no cases of murder, homicide, robbery, theft, rape, physical injuries, or carnapping of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
One stray bullet incident was recorded, with one slug recovered. No injuries, deaths, or arrests were reported in connection with the incident.
Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) conducted during the period yielded significant results. PRO 11 operatives seized seven loose firearms and arrested 125 individuals for illegal drug-related offenses, 104 wanted persons, and 32 individuals for illegal gambling activities.
PRO 11 director Brigadier General Victor Leon Rosete expressed his gratitude to his personnel for their dedication and sacrifice, particularly during the holiday season.
He also thanked the public for their cooperation and support, emphasizing that police presence and monitoring operations will continue until January 7, 2026.
