Princess Dianna Simbajon won the U-13 girls' tournament of the Davao del Norte monthly mini-chess tourney last April 15.
Simbajon won against some of Davao del Norte's top young chess players.
Last April 2, Simbajon also won the APM U15 Rapid Chess Tournament at Citymall in Cabantian, Buhangin.
Simbajon scored 6.5 points to win the tournament, joined by some of the top chess players in Mindanao.
Simbajon won a $3,000 cash prize.
The second place went to Ratz Jaweh Devibar, who won P1,500.
The third place went to Yriel Josh Hernani, who won P1,000. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
