Police Regional Office 12 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Alexander Tagum said on Wednesday (November 24), that the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the station conducted a buy bust operation in the said area which resulted to the arrest of the suspects identified as Jholamin Lembak, 32 of Datu Hopper Maguindanao and Alikan Dipatuan Santiago, 31, of Datu Anggal Midtimbang, Maguindanao.
Tagum said the operatives recovered a piece of sachet believed to be Methamphetamine shabu and a piece of P1, 000 bill along with 51 pieces of P1,000 used as mark money.
Tagum said he is extending his full cooperation to President Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign against illegal drugs.
“I would like to tell everyone to stay away from illegal drugs, it may look attractive, but it will destroy the future of Filipinos,” Tagum said. (Armando Fenequito)
