DAVAO CITY β€” Santo Tomas Municipal Mayor Ernesto Evangelista and Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib led the ground breaking ceremony Tuesday, March 22 of the 25-bed capacity Infirmary Hospital in Barangay Casig-ang.

In a statement, Evangelista said the campaign promise of affordable, and accessible healthcare for all their constituents slowly unfolds.Β

Β

Β

The Infirmary Hospital, which will rise on a 1.5 hectare property owned by the Santo Tomas LGU in Barangay Casig-ang, is seen to expand the basicΒ  services and programs on health offered by the Evangelista administration in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Β

The mayor said the Infirmary Hospital worth P15 million for the construction, will serve as a healthcare institution that provides patient treatment with medical and nursing staff and medical equipment.

Β

Evangelista said that the Infirmary Hospital in Barangay Casig-ang will also cater patients from nearby towns such as the municipality of Braullio E. Dujali.Β

Β
