His book chronicles the step-by-step guide on how to be physically fit at all times using the Russian sport Sambo.
Tamayo, currently residing in Australia believes that anyone can be somebody if you are physically and intellectually Fit and can get you to GREATNESS in the field of SPORTS and FITNESS.
"Live Learn Train- my idea of having a start up career in LIFE or to give HOPE to our young generations in urban places in Mindanao, Philippines that might have skills needed to develop and can create big change not only for their LIVES but to others too as an INSPIRATION and MODEL," Tamayo said.
"To practice sports we need to be educated, we need to combine it. It's rewarding if we see small steps that improve both ways in skills and education. We need to see them improve in SPORTS, excel in CLASS and combination we can produce ultimate athlete and SUCCESSFUL in LIFE," Tamayo added.
The Davaoeno fitness trainer who currently owns the highly respected I.Flex fitness gym in Barangay Maa here is happy and grateful that after years of promoting physical fitness he was able to write a book that will greatly help millions of Filipino to take up physical fitness and use it to improve their lives.
He is also grateful that his book gain the support of Filipinas Sambo president Paolo Tancontian and the sports focussed PBA partylist.
"I am happy that Pilipinas Sambo nad PBA partylist has supported the launching of my book last Februay 25," he said.
As a graduate of Physical Therapist in Davao Doctors College, Tamayo is hopeful many people especially the Davaoeno and the youth can read his book which has become even more important in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pilipinas Sambo president Paolo Tancontian earlier said the creation of the Fitness Sambo book is the NSA's first step in pushing Sports Sambo to be part of the curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd) that soon it may be part of the Palarong Pambansa and its local and regional qualifiers.
