Dr. Michelle Schlosser, spokesman of the city’s Covid-19 Task Force encouraged parents to have their children vaccinated as there will be more ways for them to avail of the Covid-19 vaccines.
“There are barangays offering vaccination to the pediatric age group. Even if you don't go to the vaccination hubs, your barangay leaders will go around to have your children listed for vaccination,” Schlosser said.
In a report from the City Information Office, the pediatric vaccination hubs for 12-17 years old cater to walk-ins, with or without comorbidities.
She said city councilors and district health officers will go to the barangays to bring the pediatric vaccination to the recipients.
"Some parents are still fearful about bringing their children outside, so we will bring the vaccines to their barangays to make it accessible for them,” she said.
She said parents will have to inquire from their respective barangays on the schedule of the mobile pediatric vaccination.
