The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) successfully secured the three-day 2026 Bar Examinations held at the Ateneo de Davao University–Senior High School Campus along General Douglas MacArthur Highway in Barangay Bangkal, Davao City.

The DCPO deployed security personnel to ensure the safety of around 1,081 to 1,300 examinees who traveled from various parts of Mindanao to take the licensure examination.

On the final day of the examinations, a total of 222 security personnel were deployed around the venue. The security contingent included personnel from the Davao City Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit, Traffic Enforcement Unit, SWAT, as well as representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) and other members of the safety and security cluster.

The security forces were positioned at the perimeter and entry points of the examination venue to maintain order, facilitate the safe movement of examinees and personnel, and prevent any security threats.

DCPO Chief Police Colonel Peter Madria said the successful security operation demonstrated the importance of close coordination among law enforcement and partner agencies during major events.

“The safety of our community and the integrity of national examinations remain a top priority,” Madria said.

He added that through disciplined deployment and collaboration with partner agencies, the DCPO remains committed to proactive policing and ensuring that major events in Davao City are conducted in a safe and orderly manner. Demographics
