Speaking in her radio program Monday (Jan. 31), Sara sees the winning streak of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos in the coming elections as the value for the supposed plot or at least those behind it.
“Hence, for BBM (referring to Marcos) he is clearly the winner right now, so, that is the biggest value right now,” Sara said in vernacular.
Sara made the comment when asked if she has death threats too being the running mate of Marcos. “None that I know of,” she said.
“There is no value if they kill me,” she said.
However, if the vice mayor has plans to kill her; she finds value in the move because, surely, he would become the mayor of Davao City, she said. “But I don’t think the vice mayor is thinking about that,” she quipped.
She also acknowledged the public concern over her security as she might be included in the plot as she is always seen with Marcos in their election sorties.
But Sara allayed public fear on her security saying her movements with Marcos are carefully arranged and planned.
“We are moving separately, even when riding the plane or vehicle. We only meet at the venue area. We don’t even eat together,” Sara said.
Sara confirmed the BBM-Sara unity team as seriously discussing the assassination issue which came out from a Tiktok user. This has also prompted the group to organize the unity team’s movements.
The issue is currently being investigated by the Department of Justice according to the Marcos presidential campaign.
