DCPO, Ateneo de Davao strengthen school security coordination

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) conducted a coordination visit with Ateneo de Davao University on Saturday, August 22, as part of efforts to strengthen security measures and cooperation between police and school authorities.

DCPO City Director Police Colonel  Peter Bauzon Madria, along with Deputy City Director for Operations Lt. Colonel Randy P. Sambalod and Chief of Operations PLTCOL Mark F. Balbuena, visited Ateneo de Davao University campuses from 10:34 a.m. to 12:54 p.m.

The police officials were received by Ateneo de Davao University Vice President for Administration Jeremy S. Eliab, Engr. Teddy Recomes of the Matina Campus, and school security personnel at the Ateneo de Davao Senior High School in Bangkal.

The meeting focused on improving coordination between law enforcement and school officials to enhance the safety and security of students, faculty and other members of the school community.

The DCPO said the engagement forms part of its continuing efforts to build stronger partnerships with academic institutions and promote a safe environment conducive to learning.
