The BALAI Calinan Housing Project is a key initiative of the City Government that aims to provide decent, affordable, and sustainable housing for qualified Dabawenyos.
The project covers approximately 121,378 square meters of land donated by BRIA Homes Inc. as part of its socialized housing compliance.
Implemented pursuant to Ordinance No. 0367-20, Series of 2020, the project is a partnership among the City Government of Davao, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), BRIA Homes Inc., and Vistaland Lifescapes Inc.
Once completed, the project will provide around 630 socialized housing units under the City Government’s Public Rental Transitory Housing Scheme for underprivileged and homeless Dabawenyos.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by city government officials and representatives from DHSUD, BRIA Homes Inc., Vistaland Lifescapes Inc., and other stakeholders.
