According to initial police records, the incident allegedly occurred on July 17, 2026, and was officially reported by the victim's mother on July 22, 2026.
The minor later passed away while undergoing medical treatment at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
DCPO investigators are coordinating closely with school administrators, education officials, and relevant government bodies to gather evidence, establish the timeline of events, and clarify all circumstances surrounding the incident.
