In a report from the Police Regional Office (PRO) 11, the suspect Jonny Antona Polistico alias Boss, 36 years old, and a resident of Brgy Malawanit, Poblacion Magsaysay, Davao del Sur was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Narra Subdivision, Kilometer 10, Purok 16, at around 10:50 a.m.
Polistico was listed as Top 4 regional level drug personality in Davao Region.
Recovered from the suspect was about 240 grams if suspected shabu with an estimated street market value of P3,840,000.
Also confiscated were the suspect’s Multicab and 99 pieces of boodle money.
The suspect will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the pieces of evidence seized in the operation were brought to the Regional Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
PRO 11 director Brigadier General Filmore Escobal lauded the effort of the operating groups composed of the City Special Operating Group (CSOG) of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).
Escobal also thanked the Reliable Confidential Informant (RCI) for his brave effort to disclose information about the suspect and encouraged others to do the same should they have any information on people doing any forms of illegal activities.
