The meeting highlighted the effectiveness of the Whole-of-Nation Approach, bringing together national government agencies, local government units, the security sector, and development partners to address the root causes of insurgency and sustain long-term stability.
Both leaders noted growing interest from foreign investors, particularly in agriculture, which is expected to boost economic activity and create jobs in the province.
Jubahib said the province’s stable peace and order situation and low crime rate have made Davao del Norte more attractive to investors.
“Our sustained peace and order condition is the result of strong collaboration between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and our local government units. Because of this, investor confidence continues to grow, bringing opportunities that will uplift the lives of our people,” Jubahib said.
Orio thanked the provincial government of Davao del Norte for its continued support to military peace and security efforts, particularly in sustaining gains from internal security operations.
“The progress we are witnessing in Davao del Norte reflects the strength of the Whole-of-Nation Approach. Peace and security are achieved through the collective efforts of government, communities, and stakeholders. EastMinCom remains committed to sustaining stability as a foundation for development,” Orio added.
Jubahib also reiterated his support for the Philippine Army and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, emphasizing sustained collaboration to maintain peace and ensure development translates into improved quality of life.
Both leaders agreed to strengthen coordination in sustainment efforts to preserve peace gains and ensure continued development across the province.
