In a statement, Evangelista said the said equipment aims to augment the infra-related operations of the municipal government.
He said the heavy equipment costs P2.2 million and is compliant to the technical specification required by the local government.
Evangelista led the ceremonial blessing of the hydraulic excavator on Tuesday (Jan. 18), together with Rev. Fr. Edgardo Bonghanoy, MEEDMO Manager Gary Recto, and personnel from MEEDMO.
The mayor said the newly-acquired heavy equipment will help the municipal government improve public infrastructure and enhance accessibility through the creation of new roads, especially in remote barangays.
