Matthew 5:16
Takeaway: Is there anything we can do about the darkness in this world? It seems so overwhelming! But Jesus made it clear that we are the light of the world.
John writes, “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:4-5) On our own we can never overcome the darkness. Instead, we’re simply called to be closely connected to God and remain in Him. When we do that, His light pours forth through us in powerful, brilliant ways that change the world.
When it seems darkness is crowding in, may God use us to make a difference by sharing His love, joy and peace with those around us. Amen (a message from Pastor Deepak)
