The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) thoroughly examined the scene and lifted multiple fingerprints, which are now undergoing analysis to expedite the identification of the perpetrators.
DCPO’s initial findings revealed, the suspects reportedly declared a hold-up and took assorted jewelry before fleeing on scooter-type motorcycles. The said motorcycles, believed to have been used as getaway vehicles, were later recovered by the investigating team and are now subject to further examination as part of the ongoing investigation.
DCPO Chief Colonel Peter Madria assured the public that all necessary measures are being undertaken, emphasizing that the DCPO has intensified its manhunt operations through coordinated police actions, intelligence-driven tracking, and strengthened checkpoint and dragnet operations to ensure the immediate identification, location, and arrest of the suspects.
“We assure the public that the Davao City Police Office is relentlessly pursuing this case. We will exhaust all efforts and resources to ensure that those responsible are held accountable. Criminal elements have no place in our city,” Madria said in a statement.
The DCPO earnestly calls on the public to take an active role in this investigation. Anyone with information—no matter how small—may prove crucial in identifying and locating the suspects.
