REPORTS ON ALLEGED SERVING OF SEARCH WARRANT AT REP. DUTERTE’S HOUSE IS FALSE AND ENTIRELY UNFOUNDED, SAYS DCPO

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) clarified that the circulating report regarding the alleged serving of a search warrant at the residence of Representative Paolo Duterte in Sitio San Pedro, Catalunan Grande, Davao City is false and entirely unfounded.

According to verified reports from Police Station 3 – Talomo, no such police operation was conducted in the said area. The situation on the ground remains normal, peaceful, and fully under control, with no untoward incidents recorded. Individuals who previously gathered have already dispersed, and only a minimal number of personnel remain in the vicinity for monitoring purposes.

City Director Police Colonel Peter  Madria said they strongly denounce the spread of false information that may create unnecessary fear and confusion among our people. 

The Davao City Police Office assures all Dabawenyos that there is no cause for alarm. This incident is purely a product of misinformation and does not, in any way, affect the peace, order, and security of our city.”

The DCPO continues to maintain heightened vigilance and encourages the public to remain calm, discerning, and responsible in sharing information. Everyone is urged to rely only on official and verified sources to avoid the spread of misleading reports.
